Getting There and Away
Most visitors to the Grand Canyon arrive by car -- by far.

Located 81 miles from Flagstaff, 231 miles from Phoenix, and 278 miles from Las Vegas. Route 64, off I-40 at Williams, AZ is a straight shot north to the South Rim.

Route 64 continues east through the park, exiting shortly after Desert View. The route intersects with Route 89. Turn north on 89 and in one mile you’ll enter Cameron, one of the better trading posts in northern Arizona.

Turn left and head south toward Flagstaff and I-40.
